Once Upon a Student | SUMMER... classes.. Boo | Part 15

Hello everyone!

I have absolutely no excuse for not posting for a month. A MONTH. In between finals and studying and going home, I had more than ample time to sit down somewhere quiet and post at least a paragraph or two... But did I? No. And I'm really, really sorry!

So, here I am now. ^_^ Free from college for at least a little bit - 'But wait,' you say. 'What's with your title?' Ah. I have a story to tell you! Coming into college, I had a very hard time adjusting to college and all that it entailed, including studying. Due to the fact that in high school, I could breeze through homework and tests with little studying (except for Calculus - I hate Calculus), I hadn't had any good studying habits whatsoever. And then college came along, and bam! I was struggling to keep up in class, missing classes because I couldn't wake up in the morning, and generally just having an extremely difficult time in general... And because of those failed classes, I'm behind in the road to graduating in four years, so I have to take summer courses to catch up. ^_^

Switching topics - how many of you know of a Korean boy band called "Big Bang"? They are a five-member group who recently released (today, in America) a new music video!! Eeep! Being the huge fan that I am of them, I was super stoked to watch it - but I was a little disappointed. I love, love, LOVE all of them - don't get me wrong - but every time they are in a music video, all I can think is, 'Oh Taeyang, what did they do to your hair??' For some reason it was vibrant pink in this music video... Bleh. Also, I loved the song up until they got to the chorus - my issue with that is that the song was climbing, building up to the final climax of the song, but right before it hit that note, it fell to a lower note.. Does this make any sense at all? I do apologize if it doesn't; I'm rather tired.. ><

Speaking of tired - I am in dire need of finding a job, or a way to make money.. T^T Will the financial battle never end? Fortunately, now that I'm home, I have my lovely car so I can go anywhere I want and buy books to sell if I were so inclined to do so. But the problem is - the Internet often sucks in the bookstores/Goodwills, and most of the books won't sell for much... So there's that.

But oh well. I am aware that this has been a shorter post, and I'm sorry, but I'm really tired, so I think I'll be sleeping earlier than usual today. ^_^

This has been Ryuu, signing out.

Have a wonderful night, everyone!
